  Went here with a church group of about 30 seniors. We arrived about 11:30 and were seated immediately, mostly tables for 4 people. I guess they can't accommodate large groups. Our server, Courtney, was very nice. Our drink orders were taken and drinks came at 12:10 and food orders placed (I noted times because of mixed reviews of Bubbas). Food arrived at 2/3 of our tables at 12:30 and 12:35. This left 4 tables waiting on food.
  
  My wife and I decided to split the Shrimper's Heaven, along with two side salads. Side salads were not on the menu but available if requested. Shrimp four ways, crunchy fried, sweet coconut, bacon wrapped (the best) and tempura. All were hot and delicious but the tempura was heavily battered, not lightly as it should, so tasted more like batter and little shrimp.
  
  We asked that our side salads were delivered just as food was coming out, which is as we requested. We didn't want to eat while everyone watched. Salads were fresh and crisp and larger than we thought. HINT - the regular salads are HUGE! We enjoyed our shrimp with a side of broccoli instead of fries. Broccoli was hot and crispy, not over cooked.
  
  Last tables were served about 1:10, the rest of us had finished eating by then, so we had to wait on them since we came in church bus. Finally about 1:40 we were all done and paid. Surprisingly there was no 18% tip added automatically. Courtney was very attentive and delays not her fault so left her a 25% tip, possibly to make up in case some last-served tables left small tips.
  
  Restaurant had many wonderful pictures from the movie to view while waiting on food. One issue was the back area where they seated us was freezing. Just walking back toward entrance 15 feet the temp went up maybe 10 degrees!! A minor issues was the online trivia. I got all but one answer correct and web page said show server and get a sticker. Courtney had never heard of it. Web site was horrible! I tried for 10 minutes on the way there to look at online menu. Link to menu never worked.

  I was worried when my mother told me she wanted to eat here on our vacation. I even mentioned the three-star review that the restaurant had on Yelp. But, she was determined to try this restaurant so I 'unwillingly' agreed since I had never eaten at a Bubba Gump before.
  
  This particular location lets you join the waitlist from the Yelp app. Can you imagine how dumb I felt after we joined the waitlist at the hostess stand and then I got a notification that I could have joined the waitlist from my handy dandy Yelp app? Unbelievable.
  
  We had a very short wait overall. The inside of the restaurant is filled with references from the Forrest Gump movie, as expected. The menu items also contained references from the movie as well. Our waitress went above and beyond for us during our time at the restaurant.
  
  As far as the meals are concerned, all of us thoroughly enjoyed our food. Everything was fresh and well seasoned. I tried the fish and chips dinner and was impressed with how flaky the fish was. My parents shared the fish and shrimp big dinner and had no complaints as well. My niece also enjoyed her kid's pizza dinner with the blue jello. I also tried my dad's cup of gumbo and loved it.
  
  For the restaurant to be a chain, I was impressed with the quality of the food. The only thing we weren't happy about were the prices. The prices were a bit ridiculous for the amount of food that was given. It was a good portion of food, but still not worth almost $20 per plate.
  
  We will probably be returning to a Bubba Gump restaurant if we are near one again!

  This is a typical box store experience.  Expect the same at any Bubba Gump anywhere.
  
  The wait line was not terrible for a weekend night at the beach.  We only had to wait about ten minutes and were seated.  Food arrived shortly after ordering.
  
  The food for both myself and my friend was good.  Nothing exceptional.  This was a birthday dining experience and our waitress did bring a cupcake and the staff sang, and made me dance slightly for the cupcake.  It was a fun time.
  
  So why three stars?  It was just ok, average every day expectations from a box restaurant.  Nothing exceptional stood out. I would visit again, it just wouldn't be my first choice when on the beach.

  Great food, atmosphere, and service!!!  We love dining at Bubba Gumps Shrimp Co.  Server Mandi did a great job, very courteous and fun!!!  A great place to bring a family!  Also a really cool gift shop!

  Fun atmosphere and friendly service.  Everyone was satisfied with their food.  The kitchen was a little slow which wasn't great with 2 young children.  Overall, it was a good experience and we would return.
